Week 3 Reading: The way things are AUDIO PODCAST

This audio podcast is the response in my own words about where I stand in the continuum of the way things are.

  1. Natalie,
Great job on your podcast. First off, I love that you created your reading response in a different format. Second, I too was inspired by the idea of the downward spiral and the conversation for possibility. We always have a choice...and just to be safe, let's always give thanks to the Lord. I agree that walking with the Lord gives us the strength to choose the road of possibilities instead of a negative attitude.

Like the Prof said it was creative of you to have chosen the podcast format. This also is an application of what you have learned in this course. The graphic display also adds clarity to what you said. That is a winning approach. Thanks for it.
On the issue of spiral downward and conversation for possibility i have the belief that there is a spiritual dimension to life that is more than mental and physical it by this dimension that this 'Art of Possibility' is made possible. This dimension takes God into account on the issues of life that confront us.Although mentioning God in America seems to be a taboo now, yet God is an inescapable fact of life that cannot be wished away.

  4. @ Natalie,
You are so right about the choice of having a good attitude about how one sees the possibilities. I also found the chapter really inspired me to reflect on my own way of thinking. Besides agreeing with you in so many of the points you make I loved that you used another medium such as a podcast to express your ideas and impressions. It really shows how much you have learned in the program and your students, may they be learning in school from you as a teacher or in church from you as a mentor, will surely have the engagement needed to learn. Nice soundtrack choice too. Your work is radio station material. Congratulations!

  5. Natalie,

I have to agree on the statement that "attitude determines altitude." If your attitude is constantly downward spiraling, your altitude for achievement is very low. Downward spiraling is a human behavior that we learn, but we can also learn to correct it too.
